Junior BI Data Analyst

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling; VBA knowledge is a plus)
• Experience using a data visualization tool like Power BI is highly advantageous
• Skills in data management and mining
• Financial background is beneficial
• Collaborative mindset
• Strong curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and exploring data
• Excellent analytical skills with a knack for deriving insights from data
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience with the ability to learn under senior BI team guidance

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated market intelligence databases and interactive dashboards using Power BI to monitor key performance indicators
• Analyze and forecast global soda ash supply and demand by interpreting market data and tracking the economic landscape
• Conduct in-depth analyses of specific end‑markets, key customers, and competitor activities to spot emerging trends, risks, and opportunities
• Perform customer and product profitability analysis to assist in commercial target setting and strategic planning
• Transform complex data into clear reports and presentations, providing actionable insights to address ad‑hoc requests from senior leadership
