You’ll lead a high‑performing team, strengthen supplier relationships, and deliver innovative solutions that create measurable value for Baker Hughes and its customers. In this role, you’ll champion leadership development, optimize processes, and spearhead strategic projects that transform sourcing into a competitive advantage.

As a Global Sourcing Leader, you will be responsible for:
  • Defining and improving sourcing strategies at the business level.
  • Leading a global team of sourcing leaders.
  • Working with the broader sourcing organization to develop and implement supply strategies.
  • Managing supplier performance: cost, quality, lead time, OTD, and responsiveness.
  • Innovating thinking: leveraging experience to develop contracts and creative solutions to improve value for our customers and Baker Hughes.
  • Developing processes, KPIs, measurement systems, and related dashboards.
  • Managing projects: influencing all levels of the organization to drive completion of optimization opportunities.
  • Redesigning processes as required.
  • Communicating effectively with other functional areas and influencing peers to meet objectives.
  • Handling work requiring broad‑range strategic thinking along with detailed analysis and interpretation.
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Have a minimum of 10 additional years of experience in sourcing management.
  • Preferred background in Chemicals or Petrochemicals.
  • Possess domain expertise in supplier contracts, negotiation, and process improvement.
  • Demonstrate a proven history of team development and leadership.
  • Have strong working knowledge of supply chain, sourcing, materials management, and contract management.
  • Bring project management expertise with the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
