Position: Assistant Manager of Production Line (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am. 3-4 days a week)

Assistant Manager of Production Line (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am. 3-4 days a week)

This role will be primarily responsible for helping to keep the production line running. The assistant will support the production line manager overseeing overall daily operations, including work order tracking, ensuring on‑time completion, maintaining high quality, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with the engineering team to ensure smooth operations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Track overall status of work orders and ensure they are delivered on time and built with the highest quality.
  • Organize work order schedules and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Assist in managing the production line and enforce safety rules, clean room rules, Electro‑Static Discharge regulations, and compliance with SOPs to maintain high production efficiency and quality.
  • Assist in organizing manpower and work order schedules to improve production line efficiency.
  • Assist with all managerial responsibilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Assist the production line manager in supervising all operators, technicians, and supervisors. Directly responsible for organizing employee schedules, approving timesheets, and approving paid time off requests for subordinates.

Qualifications
  • Required

    Education:

    Associate’s degree in technology or business related field.
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in technology or business related field.
  • Required Experience:
    • Computer skills to provide daily activity reports
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
    • Continually walking, lifting, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, and crouching
    • Must be willing and able to work in a cleanroom environment around equipment and maintain protocol and dress‑code, including a full‑body gown and face mask, no perfume, and no makeup
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs continuously
    • Detail oriented
    • Adaptable to change
    • Good team player
    • Committed to quality and safety
Location

This position will be on‑site based in Sugar Land, Texas.
