Electrical Cable Assembler

Pay Rate: $18.00+ per hour
Shift: 1st Shift

Gear Up for Success With:- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years of cable assembly, wiring, or electrical assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to read basic blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Experience using hand tools such as wire cutters, crimpers, and soldering irons.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly environments.
- Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-620 for cable and wire harness assembly) is a plus.
- Familiarity with testing equipment such as multimeters.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Assemble cables, wire harnesses, and electrical components according to work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Perform cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating wires.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings.
- Install connectors, terminals, and other cable components.
- Inspect assembled cables to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Perform continuity testing and basic electrical testing of cable assemblies.
Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety and quality standards. - Report any assembly issues, defects, or material shortages to supervisors.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to meet production deadlines and quality requirements.
