Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician
Clayton Services is searching for an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a growing technology company in the League City area. The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician will assemble, test, and inspect low-voltage electronic and electro-mechanical products used in specialized, life-saving equipment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in producing quality products, and is eager to learn and grow within a collaborative manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Direct Hire Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00/hour, plus OT Benefits:

Location:
Training will initially take place in League City. The position will transition to Sugar Land within approximately 6-12 months. Candidates must be willing and able to commute to both locations.
- Assemble low-voltage electronic and electro-mechanical products according to assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Assemble components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
- Perform plug-and-play hardware assembly and functional testing
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, engineering drawings, schematics, and written work instructions
- Use multimeters to verify voltages, test points, and product functionality
- Perform basic soldering and minor rework as needed
- Inspect incoming and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve minor assembly and product issues
- Maintain accurate production records, including serialized parts and testing documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with additional production activities as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or vocational education preferred
- Minimum two years of experience in electronics assembly, electrical assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, or a related manufacturing environment
- Experience using multimeters, soldering stations, precision screwdrivers, and other basic hand tools required
- Familiarity with low-voltage circuitry, wiring, and wire splicing required
- Experience reading engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation required
- Experience with 4-20 mA current loop instrumentation preferred
- Previous quality control or inspection experience is a plus
- Stable employment history with demonstrated experience in manufacturing, assembly, electronics, or related technical environments preferred
