Lamination Operator; Nights

Hourly Rate: $17.00. Night shift eligible for a $2.00 shift differential.

• Setting up and running production on a solvent‑less laminating machine.
• Perform frequent quality checks to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Complete necessary paperwork to aid in production.
• Read job specifications and previous run data (if available) to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Ensure job and material are in order prior to machine set up.
• Perform set up and activation of the laminator and load/unload roll stock.
• Mix prescribed adhesives, catalysts, and solvents to the proper working viscosity.
• Observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunction.
• Make corrections to alleviate out‑of‑spec product and meet or exceed prescribed job standards for line speeds, scrap and set up times.
• Perform minor machine maintenance and report any necessary maintenance to the engineering department using a written work order.
• Work cooperatively with the Quality Assurance department to ensure delivery of high‑quality products.
• Complete required documentation and enter data into the computer database accurately and timely.
• Participate in ongoing training opportunities and support a continuous quality improvement environment.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years demonstrated experience running lamination equipment using flexible materials.
• Ability to work with all levels of employees.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
