Electrical Assembler / Panel Builder - $24/hr
Location: Sugar Land, TX
Pay: $24.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

- Hands‑on electrical assembly and panel wiring
- Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Use voltmeters, hand tools, and power tools
- Good fit for candidates with panel wiring, electrical assembly, or control panel experience
- Assemble and wire electrical panels and related electrical assemblies
- Install, route, terminate, and test low-voltage wiring
- Mount and connect electrical and electronic components
- Read and follow work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Use voltmeters, hand tools, and basic power tools during assembly and testing
- Perform functional testing and visual inspections
- Check wiring, labels, components, and finished assemblies for accuracy
- Identify and report defects, missing parts, incorrect materials, or assembly issues
- Gather and prepare tools, parts, and materials needed for each job
- Track production quantities, time, and work progress accurately
- Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean, organized, and safe
- High school diploma or GED required
- Electrical assembly, panel wiring, manufacturing, or related hands‑on experience required
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, or technical drawings
- Working knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems
- Experience using voltmeters, hand tools, and basic power tools
- Able to install, route, terminate, and check wiring accurately
- Able to follow written work instructions and quality procedures
- Strong attention to detail when wiring, labeling, inspecting, and testing
- Able to stand and walk throughout an 8‑hour shift
- Able to bend, kneel, crouch, twist, reach overhead, and work with small components
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs and push or pull up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable wearing required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel‑toe footwear
