Production Engineering Technician – A Shift (Mon–Wed, Sun: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM) – Sugarland, Texas – Temporary-to-Hire
Pay Range: $18.00–$24.66 per hour
Schedule: Mon–Wed & Sun 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, Thurs–Sat off

Job DescriptionThe Production Engineering Technician supports continuous production by operating and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment. This role involves troubleshooting equipment, performing routine calibrations, and assisting engineers with process improvements. The technician ensures production stability, safety compliance, and accurate performance documentation.
Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and calibrate production equipment to maintain stable operations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues on machinery.
- Assist engineers with root cause analysis, failure documentation, and process improvements.
- Maintain logs of machine performance, failures, and maintenance actions.
- Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and cleanroom standards.
- Vocational Certificate or Associate Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience in equipment operation or troubleshooting.
- Experience with automated machinery, sensors, pneumatics, or robotic systems.
- Familiarity with microscopes, soldering, hand tools, and measurement instruments.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, data entry); PLC, programming, or CAD experience a plus.
- Pay rate of $18.00–$24.66 per hour.
