Electronics Technician

We are seeking skilled Electronics Technicians to support the micro-assembly of advanced electronic and laser diode components.

This role involves precision assembly, inspection, and alignment work under a microscope, handling components ranging from approximately 1 mm to 250 microns in size.

Success in this position requires exceptional hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and meticulous attention to detail in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, inspect, and test electronic components and laser diode subassemblies.
  • Perform precision alignment and handling of microscopic parts using microscopes and specialized tools.
  • Conduct fine wire bonding and assembly modifications as required.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
  • Inspect completed assemblies, document results, and identify/report defects or non-conformances.
  • Maintain quality standards while working in cleanroom and ESD-controlled environments.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience performing assembly and inspection work under a microscope.
  • Strong ability to handle and assemble micro-sized components with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to follow detailed SOPs, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
  • Experience working in cleanroom and ESD-sensitive manufacturing environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Wire bonding experience.
  • Experience in semiconductor, photonics, optical, or electronics manufacturing.
  • Experience with quality inspection, documentation, and reporting processes.
  • Familiarity with precision assembly, alignment equipment, and measurement tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sugar Land, TX.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
