POSITION SUMMARY:
The Calibration Technician is responsible for performing the calibration work for JAE’s and/or third party’s directional module package and/or similar products for the oil & gas industry for the Houston Repair Center. The individual will also record data gathered during calibration and enter the data into the system.
MAJORACCOUNTABILITIES :
General calibration work which consists of:
- Visual inspection
- Identifying the product’s defective performance with calibration stand and system
- Performing and adjusting calibration using the calibration equipment (jigs and data gathering software)
- Monitor the Calibration Stand ovens for issues and take appropriate action to complete the calibration

Ability to perform precise work and maintain high standards of quality - Problem-solving abilities:
Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. - Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Education:
High School Diploma
ExperienceMinimum 3-5 years of calibration or related operational experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
SkillsComputer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
BUSINESS TRAVEL:This position requires no traveling.
PHYSICAL DEMAND:This position requires lifting up to 30 pounds frequently.
