ED Nurse – Sienna Plantation CCC

• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team in delivering patient care using the nursing process
• Provide professional nursing care, including nursing assessments, assistance with examinations and treatment, patient education, and medical-record maintenance
• Deliver safe and appropriate care according to nursing skills inventory and patient age and needs
• Coordinate nursing-care planning with an interdisciplinary team and administer appropriate clinical decisions
• Collaborate with, direct, and delegate to the healthcare team to attain positive patient outcomes
• Coordinate treatment plans and develop/implement discharge or transfer plans
• Participate in interdisciplinary evaluation, process improvement, and client-centered outcomes
• Address diverse patient needs throughout the continuum of care and optimize the patient experience
• Ensure safe care for patients, staff, and visitors while adhering to Memorial Hermann policies and standards
• Promote professional growth through mandatory/continuing education and competency requirements
• Support department goals and may serve as a preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
• Certified in Basic Life Support
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements
• RN I: less than 1 year of experience
• RN II: 1-3 years of experience
• RN III: 3-10 years of experience
• RN IV: 10+ years of experience
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Adherence to regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards

Demonstrates expertise in patient care delivery through the nursing process, effective communication, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Holds a valid Texas nursing license and maintains certifications such as Basic Life Support while adhering to regulatory standards.
