Quality Assurance Technician

Location:

Sugar Land, TX

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift

What Makes You the Right Fit
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Associate degree in Quality, Electronics, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing environment.
  • Basic understanding of quality systems and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read basic technical documents, procedures, and instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, or electromechanical assembly.
  • Familiarity with ISO quality standards or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of inspection tools and quality documentation practices.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

How You Keep Quality Tight
  • Monitor and verify manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures.
  • Perform process audits and quality checks throughout production.
  • Review work instructions, documentation, and quality records for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Support investigations of non‑conforming products and process issues.
  • Work with production teams to ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, internal procedures, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate inspection reports and quality documentation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing quality and efficiency.
  • Assist with training employees on quality standards and procedures when necessary.
