This role ensures products and processes meet regulatory and internal standards, maintain a safe work environment, and continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness.## ##

** Key Responsibilities**## ## Quality Management* ## Develop, implement, and maintain a robust quality management system to meet customer and regulatory expectations.* ## Establish and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators.* ## Investigate quality issues, root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.* ## Oversee product compliance with internal and external standards (e.g., Food Safety, ISO, FDA, OSHA).* ## Lead audits, inspections, and supplier quality assessments.
* ## Train employees on quality standards, tools, and problem-solving methods.## ## Safety Management* ## Develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures compliant with regulations.* ## Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.* ## Provide safety training and promote a strong safety culture.* ## Monitor and remove workplace hazards (biological, physical, chemical).* ## Maintain accurate incident and compliance records.##

## Continuous Improvement (CI)* ## Lead plant or operational CI initiatives using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.* ## Identify process inefficiencies and recommend automation or tooling solutions.* ## Embed internal control programs into daily operations.* ## Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational risk reduction and efficiency gains.## ## ## Education & Certifications* ## Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial, or quality management;

MBA preferred, or demonstrated work experience in manufacturing setting (5-10 yrs)* ## Certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), ISO, Lean Six Sigma, or OSHA 5S are highly desirable.## ## Typical Skills & Competencies* ## Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, statistical process control, and risk-based governance.* ## Expertise in safety compliance, hazard identification, and incident prevention.
