Location:Sugar Land, TXKey Responsibilities Quality Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust quality management system to meet customer and regulatory expectations.
- Establish and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators.
- Investigate quality issues, root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Oversee product compliance with internal and external standards (e.g., Food Safety, ISO, FDA, OSHA).
- Lead audits, inspections, and supplier quality assessments.
- Train employees on quality standards, tools, and problem-solving methods.
- Develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures compliant with regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Provide safety training and promote a strong safety culture.
- Monitor and remove workplace hazards (biological, physical, chemical).
- Maintain accurate incident and compliance records.
- Lead plant or operational CI initiatives using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend automation or tooling solutions.
- Embed internal control programs into daily operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational risk reduction and efficiency gains.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial, or quality management; MBA preferred, or demonstrated work experience in manufacturing setting (5-10 yrs)
- Certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), ISO, Lean Six Sigma, or OSHA 5S are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, statistical process control, and risk-based governance.
- Expertise in safety compliance, hazard identification, and incident prevention.
- Proficiency in lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen tools.
- Project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Require on-site presence, travel, and ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
- Collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, compliance, and operations teams is essential.
