JOB DESCRIPTION

The Calibration Technician is responsible for performing calibration work for JAE’s and/or third party’s directional module package and/or similar products for the oil & gas industry for the Houston Repair Center. The individual will also record data gathered during calibration and enter the data into the system.

• General calibration work which includes visual inspection.
• Identify the product’s defective performance with calibration stand and system.
• Perform and adjust calibration using calibration equipment (jigs and data gathering software).
• Monitor the Calibration Stand ovens for issues and take appropriate action to complete the calibration.
• Troubleshoot testing failures.
• Data entry of defect information, repair work and calibration data.

• Attention to detail:
  Ability to perform precise work and maintain high standards of quality.
• Problem-solving abilities:
  Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of calibration or related operational experience in the Oil and Gas Industry

Skills: Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

This position requires no traveling.

This position requires lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and standing for up to 8 hours.
