Laboratory Technician

Job Overview

Pay Range $22hr - $25hr

• 2+ years of experience in HTHP in Cementing Laboratories.
• Experience with Equipment Maintenance and Calibration.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Office experience, including Excel and data entry, and report tracking.

• Set up, operate, maintain and calibrate special equipment following manufacturer’s instructions with limited supervision.
• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Ensure that laboratory equipment is in clean, working condition and that waste is regularly disposed.
• Perform routine calibration and maintenance on lab equipment following safety standards.
• Maintain laboratory databases and prepare chemical samples.
• Perform regular audits to ensure the laboratory operates according to required standards.
• Assist the Design/Technical Engineer and Product Champions with technical support as required.
• Perform risk analysis before each task or job to identify and mitigate potential safety or quality concerns.
• Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
• Maintain the required safety training.

• 2 year Associate Degree.
