Position Summary

Our merchandising & stocking associates connect all the dots to make sure members can find everything they have on their shopping list. From everyday needs to special occasions, members need you as their mini tour guide to bring them special products.
Depending on the shift you work, your job may include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick‑up orders, or helping members while stocking shelves. From unloading trucks in the summer to filling ice cream in the freezer, this fast‑paced job can be physically demanding — it’s like being paid to go to the gym! Responsibilities- Move inventory in the backroom, unload trucks, fulfill club pick‑up orders, and help members while stocking shelves.
- Promptly unload trucks, assist fellow associates, sort and stock products on shelves and in the backroom.
- Engage with vendors and drivers positively, and maintain a clean, neat, member‑ready area.
- Maintain safety: conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting procedures, hazardous‑materials handling, steel‑standard guidelines, and report unsafe situations.
- Keep the sales floor and merchandise presentation in accordance with company policies: zone the area, stock, arrange, organize merchandise, set up and clean displays, remove damaged goods, sign and price merchandise, identify shrink, and secure fragile items.
- Monitor food and merchandise quality: ensure product rotation, code dating, recalls, sanitation standards, and prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
- Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging throughout the day.
- Comply with company policies and ethical standards: implement action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply these in executing business processes.
