Position Summary

Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families.

There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal.

What you'll do...
  • Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross‑functional teams, educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with the team; and is flexible to the needs of the business.
  • Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans future productions and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food‑safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; and demonstrates an understanding of product and layout execution.
  • Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses hand‑held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
  • Be an Owner: Drives the performance of the area; manages high exposure and expectations; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date‑control standards; eliminates waste; guides peers and provides attention to customer needs; assists customers according to company policies and procedures.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience; models high‑quality service and products; executes basics at highest possible quality; exhibits energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implements related action plans; uses the Open Door Policy; applies these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicates progress and information; determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00 per hour. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
