Freight Flow Associate

• Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity, implementing related action plans and applying these in executing business processes.
• Operate forklift safely, picking up, moving, placing and positioning merchandise pallets in accordance with company standards and guidelines.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines and expectations, performing tasks, communicating progress and information, and recommending improvement opportunities.
• Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow, using equipment appropriately, handling inventory exceptions, correcting shelf capacities, and maintaining required paperwork, logs and documentation.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, guiding and supporting them with self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services.
• Maintain facility safety according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, adhering to steel-standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, organizing product displays, maintaining modular integrity, receiving, sorting, staging and delivering merchandise, ensuring display of promotional and seasonal merchandise, processing defective merchandise, and monitoring shrink and security risks.
• Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with order picking and staging throughout the day, ensuring products are selected and staged per policy, and performing occasional audits for accuracy.
• Handle moves and display goods in safe and correct ways, track goods, maintain instock levels, control shrinkage, report poor inventory practices, and use inventory tools and equipment safely.
• Operate and maintain forklifts safely, report unsafe conditions, and inform management when forklifts are not in proper working order.
• Proactively identify customers who need help, engage them, assist with technology services and items, model technology use, identify shrink opportunities, solve problems, maintain equipment, and ensure proper stocking and organization.

• 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
