SPENGA Sugar Land – Sales Associate (Membership Sales Focus)

SPENGA Sugar Land is seeking a highly motivated, sales-driven individual to join our team as a Sales Associate. This role is ideal for someone with prior sales experience who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and is passionate about delivering results. You'll be responsible for driving membership growth, converting prospects into members, and contributing to the studio's overall success.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary $13 - $15 per hour (based on experience)

- Highly incentivized commission structure:
- $15 per membership sale
- +$10 bonus for first-visit closes
- 2x commission rate when you close 10+ members in a month
Key Responsibilities
- Drive membership sales through inbound leads, walk-ins, and outreach efforts
- Follow up with prospects via calls, texts, and email to convert leads into members
- Conduct studio tours and fitness consultations, confidently presenting the SPENGA value proposition
- Close sales and consistently meet or exceed monthly targets
- Build relationships with members to support retention and referrals
- Participate in lead generation events, community outreach, and promotions
- Ensure a welcoming, energetic studio environment for all members and guests
- Maintain studio cleanliness and organization
- Support daily studio operations and additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience required (fitness, retail, or service sales preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- Energetic, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
- Passion for fitness, health, and wellness (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and closing skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including some evenings and weekends and early mornings as needed
- Proficient in English (bilingual is a plus)
