POSITIONJob Title:
Wellness Advisor.
Reports to:
Studio Manager. The Wellness Advisor is most often the first and last point of contact for current students as well as prospective students. The best Wellness Advisors are friendly, outgoing, curious individuals dedicated to learning about the students that the studio serves. This curiosity allows them to make expert format, membership/package, and retail recommendations based on the student’s goals. Additionally, they ensure the studio is a clean and inviting space.
- New Member Acquisition and Retention:
Support prospective students through the life cycle:- Booking Appointments – Contact leads timely to build relationships and get them booked in for a class experience, achieving daily, weekly, and monthly quotas.
- Studio Tours & Education – Be knowledgeable about products, programs, and pricing; conduct studio tours with new prospects to build rapport to facilitate sales.
- Membership Sales – Present the best membership or class package option based on the student’s goals; meet and exceed sales goals as established by the Studio Manager.
- Retention – Ensure new members are onboarded properly and assist members with finding the correct type of classes to achieve their fitness goals.
- Studio Operations & Promotion:
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe and inviting environment.
- Participate in grassroots/community events to promote the studio.
- Communication & People
Skills:- Fluent in English; excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email.
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public.
- Strong customer service and phone skills.
- Driven & Eager to Learn:
- Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales targets.
- Ability to learn and use the studio software system; proficient computer skills.
- Daily and/or occasional travel may be required; attend special events and trainings as needed.
- Critical Thinking:
- Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment, using sound judgment.
- Must be able to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time, reach with hands and arms, bend, lift, kneel, drive a car, climb stairs. May be asked to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
- Must have good vision and hearing to effectively operate the job.

JOB TYPE & SCHEDULEJob Type: Part-time. Expected hours: 15–30 hours per week.
Schedule:
Morning shift, Evening shift, Weekend shift.
