Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the community, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials and/or authorizations as required and assisting with entry procedures in accordance with site-specific guidelines.

+ Prepare clear, timely reports and communicate with residents, property management, and/or local responders regarding security-related concerns, disturbances, or policy violations.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
