Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician - Sugar Land, TX

General Parts is looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment in schools, healthcare facilities and restaurants throughout your area.

Hourly rate $20-45/hr (based on experience) with growth opportunities. Company vehicle dispatched from home. Ongoing training and career advancement. Benefits include PTO, 401(k) match, profit sharing, medical, dental, and Town Shares Program.

Sign-On Bonus:
Up to $6,000 available for experienced candidates.

• Investigate, repair and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
• Provide service solutions for gas, electric, and steam systems.
• Order and install replacement parts.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations.

• Fully equipped with service vehicle, tools, tablet, cellphone, uniforms, and paid laundry.
• Advancement through CFESA certification and ongoing training.
• Extra earning potential: overtime, double-time on weekends and holidays.

• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets safety standards.
• Completion of criminal background check and drug screen.
• 2+ years of related experience, education, or military training preferred.
• EPA certification required for refrigeration technicians.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
