Mako Industries is currently hiring Electrical Apprentices for a project in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Long term Project

Hourly Rate + Per Diem

Exact hourly rate and per diem will be discussed during the screening/interview process.

Position Details
  • Work will be performed in a shipyard environment
  • Schedule will be 5–7 days per week
  • Workdays will typically be 8–12 hours per day
  • Hours and schedule may vary depending on production needs
  • Candidates must be flexible, dependable, and willing to work extended hours
  • Must be comfortable working in a shipboard/industrial environment
  • Electrical Apprentice license a plus
  • Must be able to start immediately
  • Band/Bend and groom electrical conduit and materials
    • Band/Bend:
      Shape conduit or electrical raceway to the required angles and dimensions so it can be properly installed around structures, equipment, and other obstacles.
    • Groom:
      Help clean up, align, organize, and properly position conduit runs so the finished installation is neat, properly supported, and professionally installed.
  • Help prepare, organize, and move materials and tools
  • Assist with electrical installations as directed by the lead electrician
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow all company and job-site safety procedures
  • Work effectively as part of an electrical crew
Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Previous electrical, construction, industrial, or shipyard experience is a plus
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Able to work long hours and a variable schedule
  • Comfortable working aboard a ship and in an industrial environment
  • Must be able to start immediately
