Warehouse Forklift Operator

Warehouse Operator/Driver will operate an industrial forklift truck to accomplish various materials handling assignments.

• Identify and transport requested materials to and from various locations including machines, loading docks, trucks, and storage areas.
• Obtain shipping orders and then identify, verify, and transport requested raw materials, equipment, or processing materials accordingly.
• Apply understanding of machine loading capacity and loading schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of required items.
• Use protective materials and strapping equipment to protect and secure loads once delivered.
• Reports any problems with materials or transportation to supervisor.
• Manage and pile skids, pallets, and other supplies in specified areas.
• Service equipment as needed, reporting mechanical or electrical difficulties to Warehouse Supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as requested.

• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• State motor vehicle operators permit for operation of forklift highly preferred.
• 3 years’ work experience relating to inventory control.
• Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly.
• Satisfactorily pass forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of forklift in an on-site test.

• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Demonstrated ability to work diligently on multiple projects/products.
