Principal Airplane Pilot
Chevron Aviation Services is accepting applications for the Principal Airplane Pilot position through August 26th, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (CST).
First Officers assist the Pilot-in-Command with flight operations worldwide. They must maintain high safety standards, complete pre and post‑flight inspections, and be able to assume the duties of Pilot-in-Command when required. All pilots perform collateral duties and projects.
The Pilot-in-Command (captain) is responsible for the safety of passengers and crew, comfortable and timely operation of the aircraft, supervising the flight crew, ensuring compliance with Federal and International Civil Aviation Organization regulations, analyzing weather conditions with the first officer, and making decisions on delays, rerouting or cancellations. The captain also participates in collateral duties assigned by the Gulfstream Fleet Captain or Chief Pilot.
Responsibilities- Observe the highest levels of safety at all times.
- Maintain required qualifications and proficiency.
- Complete pre and post flight inspections.
- Operate aircraft worldwide without restriction.
- Able to perform duties of pilot‑in‑command.
- Perform collateral duties and projects.
- After‑hours, holiday and weekend work.
- GVI Type Rating.
- 5,000 hours total pilot time.
- 2,500 hours multi‑engine flight time.
- 1,000 in Type or large cabin equivalent.
- 200 hours flight time in previous 12 months.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot Rating.
- EFIS/EICAS/FMS experience.
- International and oceanic experience preferred. Candidate must be able to operate to any international destination.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Relocation will be considered.
International ConsiderationsExpatriate assignments will not be considered.
