Seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Transport Driver to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of fuel to our valued customers. You will be responsible for operating a transport tractor trailer, managing loading and unloading procedures, and maintaining compliance with DOT and company standards.
Primary ResponsibilitiesFollow all DOT regulations and company and customer safety and operational procedures. Safely load and unload fuel at various customer sites in a timely and professional manner. Connect and disconnect hoses, operate valves and pumps, and manage the loading and unloading of fuel using appropriate equipment. Utilize onboard systems, including Fleet Panda and Samsara, for route tracking and compliance. Accurately complete all required paperwork.
Promptly report any incidents, accidents, or spills in accordance with company protocols. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Stand, bend, squat, and climb frequently throughout the shift. Grip and lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly, including while climbing ladders or steps and performing physical tasks such as bending and navigating uneven terrain. Enter and exit vehicles multiple times per day using three points of contact. Work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain, and on uneven or muddy surfaces.
Climb ladders and access the top of the truck or tank as required for inspections or operations. Sit for extended periods while operating the vehicle. Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills with a professional appearance and demeanor. Must be able to wear steel-toe and slip-resistant shoes as part of required personal protective equipment.
TWIC card holder. Previous carded driver experience. Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
