Receiving Lead

Location: Sugar Land, TX 77487
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay: 14.60hr - 16.79hr (DOE)

Job Summary
The Receiving Supervisor leads daily receiving operations to ensure materials are accurately received, verified, and stored on time. This role supports production by resolving shipment issues, maintaining accurate records, and supervising receiving staff in compliance with standard operating procedures.

• Supervise daily receiving operations and ensure timely, accurate material receipt and put-away
• Verify incoming shipments and resolve discrepancies with carriers and internal teams
• Maintain accurate receiving records in SAP, MES, and department files
• Train and support receiving staff to meet performance and safety standards
• Oversee lab coat inventory and daily lab supply replenishment
• Identify process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and report incidents as needed

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
• Warehouse, receiving, or logistics experience required; supervisory experience preferred
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and load/unload pallets
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and leadership skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred;
  Mandarin a plus
• OSHA Forklift Certification a plus
