The Receiving Clerk role supports warehouse operations by ensuring the accurate receipt of goods and materials, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents, and maintaining inventory accuracy to support timely order fulfillment.
About the Role:
Tramontina USA, Inc. seeks a reliable Receiving Clerk who will collaborate with warehouse staff, procurement teams, and logistics personnel to resolve discrepancies and maintain organized inventory records using SAP CRM systems.
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Use SAP CRM to record receipt of goods, update inventory records, and track shipment statuses.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to organize proper storage and handling of received materials.
- Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the appropriate departments for resolution.
- Assist in periodic inventory audits and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all received goods and related documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
- Is hands-on and will be cross trained in other functions within the warehouse to have a well-rounded understanding of warehouse operations.
- Other duties as assigned based on business needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with SAP CRM or similar inventory management systems.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external vendors.
- Experience in the wholesale trade industry or a related supply chain environment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse settings.
- Additional training or certification in logistics or inventory management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred).
- Must have reliable transportation and a great attendance record.
