Inventory Control Technician plays a vital role within our organization. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include providing support to warehouse operations from material flow tracking through to site purchasing activities that facilitate having the required inventory and non‑inventory items available when needed to meet demand. This position will also work closely with demand planning, sourcing, purchasing, incoming quality and warehouse operations to ensure the timely availability of materials required to support the firm weekly schedule for kitting, formulation, filling, label printing, labeling, and packaging.
Your attention to detail and adherence to precise procedures will guarantee that our medications meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and quality, providing patients with the best possible care and outcomes.
Schedule and Compliance: Full‑time, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Set, consistent schedule with minimum overtime requirements. Site is in Sugar Land, TX. Safety‑sensitive position subject to random drug testing in accordance with applicable laws.
Responsibilities- Assist with indirect supply Kanban levels and site usage requirements; submit requisitions for supply orders to the Purchasing department.
- Work closely with Planning and Purchasing on projections and forecasting to ensure sufficient on‑hand inventory.
- Perform weekly audits of Infor picking transactions.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts of select raw materials, adjust Infor to reflect variances, and provide counts for raw materials requested by various departments for order requisitioning.
- Assist with inventory discrepancies/investigations and report findings to Finance.
- Monitor inventory to reduce waste, prevent production schedule changes/shortages/stoppages.
- Collaborate on cycle counts—monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Track and monitor raw material expiration dating.
- Review and escalate transactional errors for correction.
- Work with the finance team on cycle counting and communication of transactional analysis.
- Assist in team meetings and training to support transactional accuracy.
- Track incoming deliveries and work with the Purchasing team to provide delivery updates to the Warehouse regarding large incoming shipments, controlled substance deliveries, and other deliveries that require special or additional receiving processing.
- Communicate and arrange site‑to‑site transfers as needed.
- Identify excess inventory and assist with material return to vendors as needed.
- Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prioritize, handle, and track multiple assignments.
- Collaborate in a team environment.
- High School Diploma.
- 1+ year of experience in Supply Chain or related work experience.
- 18+ years of age.
- Successful completion of drug and background checks.
- Ability to walk, stoop, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout each shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Analytical and system proficiency with the ability to apply outcomes of analyses.
- Proficiency using MS Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Experience and proficiency using an ERP system such as INFOR.
- Current authorized U.S. work status for full‑time employment;

- Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Experience in inventory management and reduction projects such as establishing Kanbans, VMI, and cycle counting.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts.
