Position Summary

The Order Picker is responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from warehouse locations to fulfill customer orders. This role helps ensure orders are picked correctly, safely, and on time while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the overall productivity of the distribution center.

What You'll Do
  • Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations according to customer orders and picking instructions.
  • Verify item numbers, quantities, and product information to ensure order accuracy.
  • Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to locate, pick, and confirm products.
  • Safely operate material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks, order pickers, and forklifts, as required.
  • Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, incorrect locations, and product shortages.
  • Properly handle, stack, and transport products to prevent damage and support efficient order fulfillment.
  • Meet established productivity, quality, and accuracy expectations while maintaining safe work practices.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe picking locations, aisles, equipment, and work areas.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures, company policies, and operational standards.
  • Assist with inventory counts, replenishment, consolidation, and other warehouse activities as needed.
What You’ll Bring Required
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, order fulfillment, or similar environment.
  • Ability to accurately read and verify product numbers, quantities, warehouse locations, labels, and order information.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity and accuracy expectations.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established warehouse procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and order accuracy.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, stoop, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move products weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred
  • Previous order picking or warehouse fulfillment experience.
  • Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Experience operating pallet jacks, order pickers, forklifts, or other warehouse material-handling equipment.
Target Compensation Range:

The posted pay range of $16.50-$17.00 represents the anticipated hiring range for this position. Individual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, education, certifications, geographic location, market conditions, internal compensation practices, and other job-related business considerations, consistent with applicable law.
