Entry-Level Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting operations across multiple departments
• Process AP/AR, bank deposits, and account reconciliations
• Assist with schedule maintenance and monthly financial statement preparation
• Review deal jackets for accuracy and compliance
• Work closely with the Controller and Office Manager to learn dealership accounting workflows
• Help maintain accurate records for inventory, flooring, and manufacturer statements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with dealership DMS systems is a plus (CDK, Reynolds, Dealer track, etc.)
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn automotive-specific accounting processes
