Job SummaryExploration Nation is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Math Tutor to provide individualized and small-group academic support. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students strengthen their math skills, build confidence, and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one and small-group math instruction.
- Reinforce math concepts and provide homework, assessment, and test-preparation support.
- Create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
- Communicate student progress and areas of concern with the Academic Director.
- Maintain accurate tutoring notes and student progress documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field, or currently pursuing a degree.
- Strong knowledge of mathematics and ability to explain concepts in an engaging and age-appropriate manner.
- Previous tutoring, teaching, or youth-development experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, dependable, flexible, and passionate about student success.
- Ability to work effectively with students with varying learning needs and abilities.
Competitive 1099 hourly rate based on experience
