The Opportunity
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Network Access Control Engineer (Level
3) to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to deliver robust Network Access Control (NAC) capabilities for our enterprise. This role requires a deep understanding of Zero Trust principles and best practices in NAC implementation. The successful candidate will adhere to the DOD Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program requirements and possess the necessary certifications.
- Design, implement, and optimize Cisco ISE solutions to provide comprehensive Network Access Control (NAC) for the enterprise.
- Develop and enforce NAC rules in alignment with Zero Trust requirements and industry best practices.
- Perform ongoing maintenance (O&M) of Cisco ISE and related NAC systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitor system health, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal network security posture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, security analysts, and system administrators, to integrate NAC solutions with broader security initiatives.
- Provide Tier 3 support for NAC-related issues, including troubleshooting complex problems and guiding junior engineers.
- Ensure all NAC implementations comply with DOD Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program requirements and DOD 8570.01-M.
- Maintain thorough documentation of NAC designs, configurations, and procedures.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in NAC and Zero Trust architecture.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the security and efficiency of NAC solutions.
- BS or BA degree in IT, Engineering, an Engineering Discipline, or a Technical Discipline is desired.
- At least seven (7) years of practical engineering and design experience in DoD communication systems and networks.
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining Cisco ISE for NAC.
- In-depth knowledge of designing and implementing NAC rules in accordance with Zero Trust requirements and best practices.
- CCNP
- CASP CE or CISSP
- TS/SCI Clearance

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is $103,800 - $218,100.
