The Opportunity
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Dev Sec Ops Engineer (Level
3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-native Dev Ops workflows, advanced automation, containerization, and orchestration capabilities. This role requires expertise in enterprise security design and incident response for cloud environments, along with proficiency in scripting languages and CI/CD tools.
- Dev Ops Workflows:
Implement and maintain cloud-native Dev Ops workflows to ensure efficient and secure software delivery. - Automation:
Develop and enhance automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment processes. - Containerization and Orchestration:
Manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies. - CI/CD Pipelines:
Design, build, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git Lab. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Utilize IaC tools to manage and deploy cloud infrastructure efficiently. - Scripting:
Write and maintain scripts in Python, Shell, or other relevant languages to automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency. - Security:
Implement and enforce security best practices throughout the Dev Ops lifecycle. Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans. - Incident Response:
Develop and execute incident response plans for cloud environments. Collaborate with security teams to mitigate security incidents. - Compliance:
Ensure all cloud deployments comply with organizational and industry security standards and regulations.
- Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related STEM field. - Experience:
7+ years of experience in Dev Sec Ops or security-focused engineering roles. - Clearance: TS/SCI
- Deep understanding of cloud-native Dev Ops workflows.
- Advanced skills in automation, containerization, and orchestration.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab) and IaC tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
- Strong background in enterprise security design and incident response for cloud environments.
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- Azure Security Engineer Associate
- AWS Security Specialty
- AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack).
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
$113,200 - $237,800
