Applications Administrator - Level 3

The Opportunity

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Applications Administrator (Level
3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in information systems, with a specific focus on application administration. This role requires deep expertise in Red Hat (RHEL), Oracle's Web Logic Application Server, and Linux/UNIX (Solaris 10+) environments. The candidate must be well‑versed in AWS cloud management, JBoss AS, Java, and PKI (Public Key Infrastructure).

• Install, maintain, and administer Oracle's Web Logic application server in a multi-domain environment.
• Manage application administration and maintenance in Linux/UNIX (Solaris 10+) environments, including shell script development and debugging.
• Utilize AWS to manage applications in a cloud environment, leveraging tools such as AWS CLI, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
• Configure and manage JBoss AS and Java applications.
• Implement and maintain PKI solutions.
• Ensure the security and integrity of applications through robust network technologies and protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex application issues.
• Provide expert guidance and support for ITSM processes.
• Maintain and upgrade various Windows OS releases as needed.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and serverless architectures such as AWS Lambda.

  Experience:
  
  5-7 years of experience in information systems with a specific focus on application administration.
• 5-7 years of direct experience with installing, maintaining, and administering Oracle's Web Logic application server.
• 5-7 years of experience with application administration and maintenance in a Linux/UNIX (Solaris 10+) environment.
• Expert working knowledge of network technologies and protocols.
• Installation and configuration of Java.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience with ITSM.
• Experience with various Windows OS releases.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and tools such as AWS CLI, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and others.
• Familiarity with cloud serverless technologies such as Lambda.
• Security+ certification.
• RHEL/Linux certification.
• AWS/Azure Sys Ops Admin.
• Cloud Practitioner certification.
