Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid. Defense Industry Analyst to support a federal government client.

- Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000.
- Conduct all-source analysis of foreign defense industrial programs, infrastructure, and capabilities supporting a foreign country's ability to develop, equip, sustain, and employ its military forces across basic, strategic, and military industrial sectors.
- Assess research, development, acquisition, test, evaluation and production of foreign weapon systems and equipment, their associated facilities and output levels, knowledge of emerging and enabling technologies, and supporting industrial supply networks from raw materials to finished weapon systems.
- Analyze overall industrial organization, production processes, industrial control systems, design and surge capacities, cooperative arrangements with foreign defense industries, and reliance on foreign technologies.
- At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to this role, with at least a portion within the last 2 years.
- Comprehensive mission knowledge and completed all developmental training and experiences for the labor category.
- Ability to communicate understanding from incomplete or complex information and structure analysis based on trends.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
- Ability to collaborate with other intelligence community members on information sharing, driving collection, and resolving analytic disputes.
- Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
- Ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.
- Provide guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies.
- Use argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives.
- Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from an accredited institution.
- Alternatively, an additional 4 years of experience, totaling 12 years, may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
Security clearance required: TS/SCI.
LocationSuitland, MD. National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMI). CONUS and OCONUS.
