Mojo Business Analyst

This role dedicated to supporting the U.S. Census Bureau's enterprise data collection and survey systems. This position is to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical engineering teams. You will act as the technical requirements owner. This requires translating complex survey business logic into actionable development tasks.

Your Role:

• Gather and document functional and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops
• Produce detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria and traceability to business objectives
• Write and maintain SQL queries to validate data accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, and support analysis
• Inspect and analyze JSON/API payloads to verify system integrations and data exchanges
• Map current and future-state business processes and identify gaps or inefficiencies
• Debug and trace end-to-end workflows to isolate root causes of system or process failures
• Maintain backlog, defects, and change requests using Git Hub Issues or equivalent tools
• Create interface documentation, data dictionaries, and integration specifications
• Coordinate UAT testing, capture results, and validate that requirements are met
• Publish stakeholder communications, release notes, and requirement updates for each deployment
