Project Management Journeyman
Savvee Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Management Journeyman to support our federal client in Camp Springs, MD in a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate will drive day-to-day project execution by organizing plans and timelines, aligning stakeholders and delivery teams, and proactively identifying risks and dependencies. If you enjoy contributing to governance activities and the successful coordination of testing, integration, and deployment efforts, this position could be a good fit for you.
Essential Functions:
- Developing and managing project plans and schedules.
- Tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Coordinating with stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Supporting governance reviews and reporting.
- Supporting testing, integration, and deployment.
- Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.
Required Education and Training:
- Bachelor's degree
Minimum Experience and
Skills Required:
- Six or more years of project management experience
- Must have the ability to obtain the client's suitability
- A proficiency in utilizing MS Office products
- Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AI-assisted tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A highly motivated self-starter
- Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
Desirable but not required qualifications:
- Federal project execution experience
- One or more of the following certifications: PMP, CSM/CSPO, or an Agile certification
