As a Data Governance & Catalog Specialist at AFS, you will implement and manage the data cataloging and metadata strategy for the product.

** Responsibilities*
* + Lead the integration and operationalization of the automated metadata publishing service tool to automate metadata extraction and the application of classification and security tags.

+ Ensure that all data products within the data catalog are accurately tagged, described, and governed according to DoW policies, making them "readily consumable".

+ Work with data owners to define and enforce data quality rules and access control policies.

+ This role acts as part of the "Enabling Team" that supports domain data providers and consumers.

** Basic Qualifications*
* +

Experience with data cataloging tools and automated tagging platforms.

+ Familiarity with Palantir Foundry's data governance features is also beneficial.

+ Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality.

+ Knowledge of DoW data standards, metadata guidance, and data classification requirements (e.g., CUI)

* + An active Secret federal security clearance is required

** California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland** . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
