Ace Manufacturing is hiring a CNC Operator to join our Ace Production team. In this role, you will be trained to run CNC machines and make quality parts by following instructions and safety rules.
Work ScheduleFull-time
Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Starting pay: $21.00 up to $25.45 depending on experience
10 paid holidays each year
40 hours of vacation after 90 days
40 more vacation hours on your anniversary date
Medical, vision, and dental insurance eligibility after 60 days of employment
What You’ll DoYou will be trained to safely run machines in your work area while meeting quality and production goals. Your main duties include:
Run lathes, mills, grinders, and drilling machines
Match job packets to the correct job
Follow control plans, SPC sheets, insert sheets, and job cards
Check parts using gauges, micrometers, and calipers
Make sure all machine guards are in place
Stamp parts correctly for identification
Fill out paperwork clearly and correctly
Work safely at all times
You must tell your supervisor when:
A job is almost done or finished
Parts do not meet quality standards
A machine is not working or breaks down
Production is not meeting the 100% rate
OtherJob Duties
Read blueprints and drawings to make parts
Help set up machines with a CNC Set-Up Operator
Do basic machine maintenance
Keep your work area clean
Follow lockout/tagout rules and all safety rules
Buy personal tools if required by company policy
Show up on time and return on time from breaks
Work well with others and help as needed
Skills & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required
Technical school training is helpful
2–5 years of machining experience preferred
Able to read instructions, blueprints, and measuring tools
Reliable and self-motivated
Organized and able to handle more than one task
Able to work alone or with a team
Physical RequirementsStand most of the workday (about 90%)
Move around the work area to reach machines
Read and write to follow instructions and fill out reports
Use hands and fingers to run machines
See clearly (with correction if needed)
Lift and move parts weighing from ½ pound up to 60 pounds
Finished parts may weigh up to 50 pounds
