Role Description The Value Stream Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sullivan, MO, responsible for overseeing end-to-end performance of assigned value streams within Aerofil’s manufacturing operations. This role manages production schedules, coordinates resources, and ensures efficient workflow across aerosol, liquid, and custom packaging lines. The Value Stream Manager leads cross-functional teams in implementing Lean Manufacturing, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and monitors key performance indicators related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Daily responsibilities include collaborating with production, engineering, and supply chain teams, resolving operational issues, optimizing processes, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards. The role also involves coaching team members, supporting customer requirements, and ensuring that value stream activities align with overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong Manufacturing Operations and Operations Management skills to oversee production lines and value streams effectively.
- Experience in Production Planning and Supply Chain Management to coordinate schedules, materials, and logistics.
- Background in Manufacturing Engineering to support process optimization, equipment utilization, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage cross-functional projects, and implement Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision making, including use of KPIs, root cause analysis, and problem-solving tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental compliance standards in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field; relevant manufacturing leadership experience strongly preferred.
