Additional Information About the Role Minimum Qualifications

Current enrollment in an accredited nursing program.

Completion of a foundational nursing skills course or equivalent (fundamentals, foundations, or adult/peds health).

To maintain PRN employment status requires working 24 hours every six weeks.

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is a designated critical access hospital located in Crawford, Franklin and Washington counties.

Provides multi-skilled, direct patient care, under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse. This job requires completion of a foundational nursing skills course or equivalent (fundamentals, foundations, or adult/peds health).

• Assist nurse with patient and family education.
• Document all patient care activities with correct medical terminology.
• Act as 1:1 patient safety sitter as necessary.
• Ensure availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient's needs.
• Implement direct patient care under the supervision of the nursing team.
• Collect clinical data and information on patients and report abnormal findings to the nurse.
• Instruct patients in preparation for tests and procedures.
