Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is a designated critical access hospital committed to providing quality health care service to residents in Crawford, Franklin and Washington counties. The hospital has enhanced and expanded the health care services available to the greater Sullivan community with its state-of-the-art emergency department, modern childbirth center, critical care unit, multiroom surgical suite, expanded cardiac rehab services, and a cancer center.
A 22,500 square-foot medical office building provides offices for primary care physicians as well as space for a variety of visiting medical and surgical specialists from the St. Louis area. Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital operates four rural health clinics providing quality health care to surrounding communities. In addition, the hospital operates a comprehensive Therapy and Rehabilitation department and an award-winning Wound Care Center with two hyperbaric chambers.
Management
Risk Management is responsible and accountable for the coaching and directing an integrated team to deliver high quality patient care. They provide leadership through positive role modeling of BJC/MBSH mission, vision and values by demonstrating current knowledge of State and regulatory practice acts/guidelines affecting areas of supervision.
Preferred Qualifications Role PurposeCoordinates the health care of select patient populations/designated service across the continuum of care. Responsible for coordination of patient contact, patient education, prepares patient/family for procedure/test in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Facilitates patient care by assessing and evaluating patient's physical, psychosocial and emotional needs.
- Coordinates the delivery of safe and appropriate patient care governed by evidence-based clinical practice.
- Monitors care and data to optimize patient outcomes.
- Facilitate the education of patients and families. Acts as a resource to the health care team.
- Ensures actions meet and support the overall goals of the business.
