New Graduate Nurse

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within the guidelines of nursing standards. The position is open to all student nurses, regardless of graduation date, and requires obtaining licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment.

• Educates patients and families on managing illness, post-treatment care, and medication use.
• Uses critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans collaboratively with healthcare team members, promoting patient and family-centered care.
• Evaluates patient responses and adjusts care plans accordingly.
• Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
• Works in a safety-sensitive environment requiring alertness and safe practices.

• Minimum:
  Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred:
  Additional qualifications or experience related to nursing.
