The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and communicating effectively across care teams. The role requires working in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing; RN license required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 2+ years of experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to professional development and adherence to safety standards
Key Duties:
- Assess and evaluate patient needs and develop care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and medication use
- Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives
