Responsibilities

* Sets up Lyco and Blentech production room, makes adjustments to equipment as needed.

* Adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) during production, sanitation, and handling materials and ingredients.

* Maintain and adjust equipment to control designated weights on an individual package or case weight basis.

* Meet production performance requirements in a fast-paced work environment.

* Transfers finished products and raw materials to identified location in the plant/warehouse or on production line.

* Adhere to all safety requirements including the wearing of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as prescribed for each work activity or job.

* Perform CCP checks as needed depending on location in the plant and during manufacturing.

* Follow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner.

* All food safety and human safety concerns need to be reported to appropriate personnel such as shift lead, shift supervisor, QA technician, Safety Manager, FSQ Manager, etc.

* All other duties assigned

Qualifications

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

* Two or more years industrial equipment or food manufacturing experience required

* Forklift/Pallet Jack Certification a plus

* Ability to apply good judgement and understanding to carry out detailed instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

* Ability to communicate production issues, counts and weights to supervision or lead personnel

* Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

* Knowledge of GMP and safe food manufacturing practices a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS

Areas of facility may include controlled temperature zones including areas with refrigeration and noise levels requiring PPE.
