Job SummaryThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the company's overall financial management and serves as the senior financial advisor to the President and the executive leadership team. The CFO oversees general accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, cash management, credit (Corporate and AR), insurance, investments, and financial compliance.
The CFO develops financial strategies that support the company's goals, establishes financial policies and internal controls, and monitors financial performance to help guide business decisions. This position ensures the company's financial stability, manages relationships with banks, auditors, insurance providers, and other financial partners, and leads the finance and accounting team in delivering accurate, timely and effective financial operations.
Minimum Qualifications- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field. - Experience:
10+ years of progressive financial leadership. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, risk management, analytics, and strategic planning. - Knowledge:
Financial management, accounting principles, and corporate finance. - Computer Literacy:
Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems and Microsoft Office. - Communication:
Clear, effective communication skills (both verbal and written, in-person and over the phone). - Discretion:
Able to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in all matters. - Detail-Oriented:
Strong organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail. - Critical Thinking:
Able to solve problems by using critical thinking skills and strategy.
- Prior experience working in retail or service industries.
- MBA, CPA
Valid driver’s license

Financial Strategy & Leadership- Develop and execute the organization & financial strategy.
- Advise on financial planning and business growth opportunities.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights.
- Drive profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
- Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Analyze market trends, business opportunities, and investment proposals.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial targets.
- Drive continuous improvement by integrating AI into financial operations.
- Oversee accounting, treasury, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
- Manage working capital and optimize capital structure.
- Maintain effective internal controls and financial systems
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
- Oversee tax planning and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Communicate financial performance to board members, lenders, stakeholders, etc.
- Support fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and capital investment activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions and investors.
- Lead and develop finance, accounting, and related teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure staff training and professional development.
Primarily an indoor, climate-controlled office environment. However, occasional outdoor work may be required based on business needs.
