Lpn & Rn - Prn Shifts

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in the screening and oversight of the health care of all children assigned to care.
• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in education and training of staff and clients on health care issues, policies, and procedures.
• Provide emergency oversight of medical services as needed for clients and staff.
• Assist in maintaining systems and processes related to health care functions, including infection control and employee health.
• Maintain high standards of personal and interpersonal functioning in job performance.
• Monitor Child Care staff in the performance of their health care responsibilities.
• Assist the Director of Nursing in other duties as assigned related to the provision of health care for clients and staff.

Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse with a valid Louisiana license; two years of experience preferred in working with an adolescent population.

• Ability to function effectively as a team member of the professional staff with a focus on problem‑solving and outcomes.

Time on Duty:
To be arranged so as best to accomplish the work to be done. A basic work schedule of 40 hours will be utilized.

Salary:
As provided in the Annual Budget.

FLSA Exemption:
Non‑exempt.

As stated in Personnel Policies and Procedures and determined by the Board of Directors.
