Position Summary

TheQA/QCSpecialistisresponsibleforsupportingtheimplementationandexecutionoftheproject'sQuality Assurance and Quality Control program .Thispositionensuresthatallelectricalandinstrumentationinstallationsarecompletedinaccordancewithprojectspecifications,engineering drawings,applicable codes,client requirements,andBayou Electrical Services 'quality standards.

TheQA/QCSpecialistworkscloselywithfieldsupervision,project management,clients,andinspectorstoverifyqualitythroughoutallphasesofconstructionwhilemaintainingaccuratedocumentationandfacilitatinginspections.

• Performfieldqualityinspectionsonelectricalandinstrumentationinstallations.
• Verifyinstallationscomplywithprojectdrawings,specifications,IFCdocuments,andapplicablecodes.
• Conductroutineinspectionsof:
  • Cabletrayinstallation
  • Conduit systems
  • Cable pulling
  • Instrument tubing
  • Instrument installation
  • Junction boxes
  • Control panels
  • Electrical equipment
  • Grounding systems
  • Supportsandmounting
• Monitorworkmanshiptoensurecompliancewithcompanyandclientqualitystandards.
• Assistwithdevelopingandmaintaining Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Coordinaterequiredclientinspectionsandwitnesspoints.
• Prepareinspectionreportsandmaintaindailyqualitydocumentation.
• Trackdeficienciesandmaintainpunchlists.
• Verifycorrectiveactionshavebeencompletedpriortoclosingpunchitems.
• Maintainqualityturnoverdocumentationforprojectcloseout.
• Reviewred-linedrawingsandverifyfieldchangesareproperlydocumented.
• Coordinatewithengineering,project management,construction supervision,andclientrepresentativesregardingqualityissues.
• Participateinprojectwalkdownsandmechanicalcompletionactivities.
• Maintaindocumentcontrolforqualityrecords.
• Supportauditsconductedbyclientsorthird-party inspectors.
• Assistindevelopinglessonslearnedandcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.
• Promoteacultureofqualityandaccountabilitythroughouttheproject.
• Performotherdutiesasassigned.

• Minimum2yearsofQA/QCexperiencepreferred.
• Strongunderstandingofindustrialelectricalandinstrumentationinstallationpractices.
• Abilitytoreadandinterpret:

TheQA/QCSpecialistwillregularlyinteractwithprojectmanagement,field supervision,client representatives,andthird-party inspectors.
